Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the support of all application systems while ensuring that the development and deployment of the IT solutions complies with the defined standards and policies. Specific responsibilities will also include:

  • Lead the development, building, configuration and unit testing of business intelligence and integration solutions from conceptualization through stabilization using various computer platforms.
  • Direct the development of accurate estimates for work request delivery and application support services

Job Title:  Unit Head, IT Finance and Vendor Management
Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for Overseeing and managing financial accounting, billing, reporting, transaction processing and control activities across IT finances.  S/He will manage relationships with existing suppliers on a day to day basis including contract changes, issue and/or dispute resolution and contract termination.  Specific responsibilities will also include:

  • Reconcile or direct the reconciliation of various accounts receivable and other balance sheet accounts
  • Review figures, documents, and journal entry postings for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper account coding for the general ledgers
  • Ensure coordination between Architecture & Planning, Service Development and Service Management in terms of supplier relationships to deliver cost reduction and maximum value from key third party contracts

Qualifications
This position is open to candidates with a minimum of 13 years post NYSC hands-on experience in financial management, accounting and/ or treasury, supplier relationship management role and at least 5 years at a supervisory level.

Description

  • Maintain the IT Disaster Recovery Plan including annual reviews
  • Establish Assurance Management standards to cover client/external requirements (e.g. BASEL2, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.)
  • Serve as liaison to auditors, consultants, and the bank Compliance Committee regarding documentation and review of information compliance.

Qualifications
